About Me

It all began on a rainy afternoon in 2007 during my final year of B.Com. A chance glimpse at a newspaper ad seeking teenage journalists did it, coupled with the urge to build my extracurricular portfolio. Soon, I was freelancing as a campus reporter for Just Like That, a youth magazine by the TOI Group. And then there was no looking back.

In the decade since, I’ve worked as a content junior at a digital agency, ghostwritten medical literature for a homoeopathy clinic, and even appeared for the CAT and NMAT, which helped me revisit the rules of English grammar and vocabulary. But a freelance travel-planning gig in the interim made me realize my true love—full-time writing—so I gave up my MBA dream to pursue my calling.

I’m grateful to have spent three years each in the editorial departments of Spenta Multimedia and Condé Nast India, two of the country’s biggest media behemoths. And when life and spondylosis happened, I went full-time freelance and dedicated a majority of my time to penning my first book.

My work has been featured in Condé Nast Traveller India, Architectural Digest India, JetWings, Navneet NewsHouse and Film Companion, among others, with travel, lifestyle, cinema, relationships, and children’s literature being my interest areas. I’m also in the process of creating a bank of screenplays and TV concepts.

Want a fresh pair of eyes to look at your text? I can point out how you can
make it better, and then clean it up and make the words sing. That I’m a
grammar Nazi and ruthless fact-checker should be a bonus for you.

Be it a play, video, commercial, low-budget web series, or big-ticket motion picture, I can provide you with an intriguing script or storyline either on spec or based on your brief.

Can’t find the right words to sell your product, service or brand? Allow me to pen you a persuasive description.

Need feedback on your manuscript? I can evaluate your work with a detailed report.
